We have a Gig coming up this Friday with Alarmist in Block T in Dublin. We’re aiming for a nice combo of turntable zoetropeism and a experimental tape mapping. Alarmist are in the process of releasing their first Ep, so last week we met up with them in block T after hours for an audio/visual recording session. Which you can watch above, Props to Ciaran Mangan for his amazing work on the sound, to Peter Cooney for his big help with the set up and camera work, Also a shout out all the people at Block T. Two videos we shot while on tour with Halves earlier this year. I had just started shooting with the 550d and used the trip as a way of familiarizing myself with the camera. Now a few mouth on I can’t get enough of the little guy, so much so that our next project will involve 8 of them. We can also find photos of the trip here.
A little bit of footage from a gig we did visuals at in the Button Factory last week. The gig was held to celebrate the first birthday of Block T. I was pretty busy for most of the night so only had a few minutes to shoot footage so I went to town on the “intro” instead. Props to Andrew Kramer for the Sure Target plug in and Fiachra Hackett for hooking us up with some tasty flash loops.
